This tour requires a lift ticket to be purchsed on the morning of the tour at Thredbo
We will meet at Valley Terminal in Thredbo by 8:00a.m. It is essential that the group leaves as soon as the chairlift opens at 8:30am sharp & has returned at a suitable time to ride the chairlift down. Each person must have a return ticket to ride the Kosciuszko Chair lift at the beginning & end of the tour. This tour is 13km return & without the chairlfit support the summit is not achievable. The tour is entirely in the treeless Alpine terrain which affords very little shelter & can experience incredible wind speeds. Suitable conditions will be required on the day & correct equipment as per the SNOWSHOE EQUIPMENT LIST is essential.
